Chateau La Fontaine

Le château La Fontaine est situé dans un cadre superbe, au milieu des vignes, dans le calme. Il y a beaucoup de place autour des gîtes, idéal si vous avez des enfants qui aiment se dépenser dehors. Les logements eux mêmes sont très confortables et très bien équipés en vaisselle et matériel de cuisine. Emilie est une hôte très agréable et accueillante.

Das Apartment auf zwei Etagen bietet viel Platz mit grossem Wohn- und Esszimmer sowie einem schönen Gartensitzplatz. Voll ausgestattet und mit einem Pool zur Mitbenutzung ist es ideal für einen entspannten Aufenthalt. Die Gastgeberfamilie ist sehr sympathisch und lässt viel Freiraum, sodass man sich wunderbar entspannen kann. Die Lage mitten in „Little Tuscany“ ist einfach traumhaft.

Die Treppe in den oberen Stock ist sehr steil, und bei heissem Wetter wird es dort recht warm.

Très bel endroit pour découvrir la région. Bel espace intérieur et extérieur appréciable pour les enfants qui ont pu profiter du trampoline .La propriétaire était réceptive à tous nos appels et demandes.

I feel like I need to be the first to shed a bit of light on this property. We booked here because of the rave reviews but to be honest we were more than disappointed. The apartment is new and has been done up for the sole purpose of making extra cash. Our main problem had to be the stairs going up to the bedroom. They are extremely narrow and quite dangerous, I’m 27 years old and I had to walk very carefully down them. With a suitcase it’s very difficult! The bedrooms are a bit stuffy, luckily we were there when it wasn’t too hot. The lounge area is not very homely and doesn’t seat enough people (3) and it looks onto the driveway of the owners home. The pool belongs to the owners home and we felt a little uncomfortable to go use it as it’s in their area, a little walk away from the apartment. The view of the vineyards is magical but there are no windows to see this, you have to go outside to the bbq area to do so. Overall not what we were expecting from the reviews and the photos! It has potential but still a bit of work to be done.
