Loved the space and the convenience of having everything you need!

The road to the house is really bad. The blinds in the rooms let in too much light,so you are awake very early. Block out curtains would be great!

What a stunning, neat and clean, perfectly adequate home for us four ladies. We lacked absolutely nothing. Everything is of top quality, the beds comfy and warm, the kitchen has everything you need. The living areas offered us ample space. From the homely touch of OB's to tea, coffee, sugar and milk and bathroom products...it's a perfect stay! Gavin was incredibly friendly and kind, too, making sure we were 100% comfortable. It's perfectly situated to walk or drive into town. We shopped up a storm and ate cheesecake everyday. Clarens itself is special, with beautiful scenery and easy drives. We loved all the little shops with such amazing people. We are definitely making a plan to return here. Loved it! Thank-you!

There's nothing we didn't like. The grannies just suggested to put a hand rail in the shower maybe, to hold onto in fear of slipping. But otherwise we have nothing to complain about.

What a beautiful house. It gets extremely cold there so we loved that they gave us all that we needed to stay warm. Electric blankets, heaters in all rooms, carpet, fireplace, so many fleece blankets. The kitchen is fully equipped! We even got a welcome drink ready for us 😁. The house is perfect, so close to town! Check in and check out was super easy. The area is very peaceful. The beds were so comfortable.

There are little bugs that get into the house, so keep windows closed when you leave the house. Buy wood for thw fireplace as its not provided.

The location & the views resulting in a magical sunrise, far from the town bustle & has a hiking/running trail literally in the backyard. Beautiful , practical furniture & utensils, plenty towels, heaters & electrical blankets in every bedroom, winter duvets & extra blankets. Gas heater in the “sunroom” came in handy at night to supplement the fireplace in the open plan lounge (Clarens is lekker koud 🥶). Additional small fleece blankets in the lounge & plenty two-pin plugs! Enjoyed the well-kept lawn in the front yard after the Saturday morning breakfast in the sunroom (indoor outdoor dining & lounging area)

The water pressure in the 2nd bathroom was too low. Kettle without measurements (kept boiling too much water for one cup of coffee 🫣) Wind through the kitchen door (used one of the small fleece blankets to block it)
