Spacious 4 bedroom home by Melrose and 10 minutes to Hollywood Walk of Fame

Some of the doors have a non functional locks. Rooms needs privacy must have functional locks.

Location was good for us. We wanted something close to Universal Studios - so this worked out well. There were also good nearby places to get food.

We happened to visit on a rainy, stormy day. The home had several locations where it leaked - one in the kitchen and a couple of leaks in the rear bedroom. It leaked on our luggage and edge of bed while sleeping. The hosts were notified and were responsive. But I would not recommend this place if you see the weather report with rain during your stay. If the weather is not rainy, then this place served its purpose of being our resting spot during the evening.

Super cute house. Very clean and the beds and pillows were very comfortable which allowed for a good nights rest aster a long day of walking. The area is clean safe and residential. The house is close to restaurants shopping places and everything else you can think of. The bathrooms were very nicely filled with essentials needed. This house has a very comfy charm with old items and trendy decorations. We loved it. We will book again a dm highly recommended

Hosts are responsive and friendly. They let us arrange to check in several hours early. Good location adjacent to a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. House is spacious and bright with natural light. Kitchen has new countertops. Plenty of sheets, towels, dishes, and silverware.

Handyman came in on day one of our stay to measure for a replacement sliding shower door. Ten days later, at the end of the stay, it was still missing. He also removed all the lightbulbs from the light fixture over the dining table and only came back a week later to repair it. The other lighting in the living room/dining room is dim, so we took a lamp from the living room and put it on the table to give ourselves light to eat. The dining table itself is extremely rickety. The house is kind of janky with multiple interior doors that can’t latch and windows/doors that open (or won’t open) directly onto to exterior walls. Multiple bedrooms have skylights that make the rooms too bright at night. The two back bedrooms are only accessible through exterior doors or through one of the two front bedrooms. The oven doesn’t work - it gets warm but not hot enough to cook anything. Most burners on stove don’t light without a match. A window in living room is stuck open a couple inches. House is very poorly insulated. The living room only seats 4 or 5 adults relatively comfortably, not 8. And the furniture is very small, built for short people. There’s only one house key, which is inconvenient for a party of 7. It’s a nice walk to the walk of fame, but it’s 30 minutes, not 10. Thin curtains throughout the house don’t keep light out or provide privacy at night. Only two trash cans, in the kitchen and one bathroom. Parking is one narrow spot flush up against the neighbor’s spot. Street parking has a 2 hour time limit on the closest street and street sweeping days a couple days a week on the other nearby streets.
