The location is superb less than a minute from the centre market hall and cafe. Beautiful old town house with exceptional original features and antique furniture, each ornament and fitting is perfectly traditionally styled. Everything is clean, works well. The host is relaxed and welcoming. There are some quirks that won’t suit everyone but we loved.

Ok we liked everything but .. there are lots of beautiful old stairs, that creek loudly. There is a toilet/ bathroom at the top of the house and toilet/shower on the ground floor but not near the bedrooms. The house has big rooms and thick walls so lovely and cool but not air con - the fridge and cooker are smallish but work well. All the laundry facilities great.

This was the best location - in a quiet side street but with the centre of Saint Antonin right around the corner. There was plenty of free parking nearby when we visited in late June/early July. The shops - bakers, delicatessen - were a couple of minutes away and the small supermarket five minutes walk away. Also, this is a very spacious whole town house over four stories - the old workshop (now utility/shower/toilet) on the ground floor, kitchen and loving room on first floor, two large bedrooms on second floor, and bathroom and additional bed in the attic room. It's a very old house which has been renovated with care (the staircase must be hundreds of years old) and furnished with care in the style of a 19th C French house, so full of character.

We arrived in a heatwave, up to 39 degrees, and the bedrooms were fairly hot. So no air conditioning, but good fans provided. There's no garden. We didn't have a problem with the four stories and lots of going up and down stairs, but this isn't the place for someone with limited mobility.
