Breakfast was great and the apartment overall was very nice.
No wifi is a problem. I would probably not stay here again unless wifi is added.

L'appartamento è grande, bello, pulito e super accessoriato, non mancava davvero nulla. Abbiamo sfruttato tanto lo spazio esterno molto verde e in ombra, ideale per pranzare e cenare all'aperto. La posizione è comoda perché al centro del paese e di tutti gli eventi organizzati, il posto auto a disposizione utilissimo in quanto spesso è difficile trovare parcheggio. Carlo è un host gentile e disponibile, sempre discreto. Ci ritorneremo davvero volentieri.
L'unica piccola pecca è che in agosto in paese organizzano a volte degli eventi musicali ed, essendo l'appartamento in una comoda posizione centrale, si sentiva musica fino a tardi, credo però che il resto dell'anno sia molto tranquillo.

Carlo was a pleasure to talk to and was very helpful with directions and cycling routes. Since we were on a cycling of Italy, the bike storage in the garage was big plus. The apartment is less than a minute walk from the city market area.

De locatie: midden in het historische centrum van Castiglione dei Pepoli
Het appartement is donker - zelfs als de zon schijnt hadden we een lamp aan in de woonkamer - en kil - de verwarming was niet in staat om de dikke muren en de tegelvloer op een aangename temperatuur te brengen (bij een buitentemperatuur van 10-15 graden). Bij aankomst was de verwarming uit, we moesten de verhuurder terug laten komen om die voor ons aan te zetten. Dat deed hij overigens zonder problemen.
De buitenruimte is mooi, maar krijgt niet heel veel zon. En is niet echt privé: twee balkonnetjes van het buurhuis kijken er direct op uit.
