Uptown Mall Linked 1BR 2 Beds Best Value BGC

Location is excellent, walking distance to all the amenities and only a block away from Uptown Mall. Unit was clean, the kitchen was well equipped, and towels and toiletries were provided. There was a washing machine/dryer combo which I didn't use for my short stay. However, the unit is starting to show its age and could use some touchups here and there. The building staff were excellent and always helpful and the host was quick to respond to text messages and quickly resolved a check-in issue.

The check-in process should have been easy except the previous tenant had not returned the elevator RFID-card. Fortunately, the host was very good at communicating with me regarding the oversight but I had to wait till the next day to receive the key. As a result, for the first 24 hours, security had to use their key to let me use the elevator after explaining to them that I was the current tenant. What should have been a five minute check-in process took almost an hour and was very stressful. There were two of us in the unit but only one elevator key was provided which made it a hassle coordinating who should have the key. This unit looks like it can accommodate four people and I imagine there would be difficulties in coordinating the use of the elevator key.

I love how there was an extra bed so I dont need to share with family. Many advertised beds on Booking assume 1 bed can be shared by families. There is a cultural difference. In Phillippines beds can be shared with all family members so they place 2 beds in their advertisement which is actual 1 bed only in real practical sense. For western foreigners, we like separate beds which is posting in booking 2 actual real beds. We need separate beds since we like pur own independent spaces and not share with family. I love the location to shopping malls and restaurants. I love how the trash bin is in the same floor to dispose of trash. Also, room was decent but prominent stains on the sofa was visible making me feel disgusted. Mold was also shown in the shower which is harmful for inhaling for the lungs. The room had a dog smell and I don't like pet smell. It made me feel like the room was a bit unsanitary since pets carry parasites and harmful bacteria

Room had a dog odor or pet. It had a large stain in Sofa. I didn't wanna sit there so I placed other things on it as resting place. Shower area had mold growing which is common for restrooms without windows

So much space for us with extra bed. Very clean👍. Just front of uptown mall.
