London's Great Escape 2 Bed Flat

Great location, excellent access and communications, clean and practical accommodation - the provision of electric fans was particularly appreciated during this heatwave!

We couldn’t make the kitchen lights work (but that might have been us!) and my daughter in law sleeping in the first bedroom (to the left of the entry door) said the mattress was thin and uncomfortable but I can’t vouch for that myself!

Very good property in a good location, very organised and tidy, and bed was comfortable. Summer sheet instead of a duvet was appreciated. Fans in cupboard were very much needed for the summer!

Was a bit hot as we visited during a heatwave, but this is no fault of the host, we also couldn't find the kitchen lightswitch but was not too much of a worry as we were able to turn the hob hood lights on and they were plenty bright enough to navigate the kitchen. Only bad thing, as others have noted is that the window in the master bedroom is still smashed, but is a tiny hole that actually added to ventilation in our stay haha!

Die Wohnung ist wirklich gut gelegen, man ist sehr schnell in der Londoner Innenstadt. Außerdem war es sehr ruhig, die Wohnung liegt in einem Wohngebiet ohne viel Autoverkehr.

Die Wohnung ist allgemein in keinem besonders guten Zustand. Eine Fensterscheibe war eingeschlagen, die Dusch-Armatur aus der Wand gerissen, der Teppich in den Schlafräumen schäbig. Zwei Nachttischlampen sowie einer der beiden Ventilatoren waren kaputt. Das gemeinsam mit anderen Mietern genutzte Treppenhaus war sehr dreckig, in der Straße roch es ständig nach Urin. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war auch nicht sehr gut. Wir hatten vor der Reise mehrmal per Booking-Nachrichten angefragt, ob wir schon etwas früher einchecken oder zumindest das Gepäck abstellen könnten. Keine Antwort. Ich habe es dann nochmal über die bei Booking angegebene Handynummer per Whatsapp versucht, ebenso keine Antwort. Immerhin ging es dann mit Hilfe der Funktion bei Booking, in der man die Anreisezeit ändern kann, da kam dann so eine automatische Bestätigung und wir konnten eine Stunde früher in die Wohnung.
