Northern Rock Accommodation

Lovely and super friendly owners, clean, everything there to make a short stay comfortable with the ability to cook simple meals. Some short walks and an adventure climb up the rock, and it’s in a good location close to a town and about 1 hour’s drive from Waterberg Plateau National Park.

The location, cleanliness, comfort, animals and facilities. I was overall impressed with everything at Northern Rock Accommodation despite it still having some construction and renovations ongoing. Things can only get better in the near future.

It was such an amazing place to stay. I was welcomed even though I arrived before my ETA. As there are only 4 'rooms' it's very quaint and quiet... I thought. The 'room' is amazing - the way it is built, the lay-out and all the facilities - perfect. Sadly it's very drafty and there is no noise insulation ... so I felt like I was camping out with the family next door. The bed is very comfortable, the bath-tub inviting ... but not to be used when there is a shortage of water. The 'farm' is large and safe enough to go for a walk. There would be a 'hike' up the hill, but it looked a bit instable, though I was told the view from the top is breath-taking - I could imagine. The owner/host is very helpful and friendly. They are busy building a pool - which will be a huge added bonus. The kitchenette is well stocked and want wants for nothing. I will be back.
