Miss Francis Horse Wagon Sleeps up to 5

Probably one of the quirkiest places we've personally stayed in and we absolutely loved it! The views are lovely and the sunrise too if you can be bothered to wake early enough to see it like my husband did...I saw the photos! When I booked it, I hadn't realised it was on a farm. As it was extremely hot when we stayed, some of the sheep escaped the heat by shading themselves under the wagon which wasn't a problem at all. There are also alpacas, chickens, horses and more. We enjoyed our stay very much and it has been highly recommended to friends and family. We would definitely stay again. The hosts are very quick to respond to any questions/queries.

Location, remoteness, quirky

Unfortunately the sound of coughing sheep kept me up all night the first night. Sheep sleep other side of headboard area. All night. Second night with earplugs was slightly better. Also the access road is a killer on the underside of normal cars. A group of ladies where struggling with their Ford Fiesta and my Mini Cooper had front bumper damage and a blown rear shock. Last day we had to drive on grass to avoid the path.

Such a cute place with fantastic views & surrounded by animals ❤️ Owners were really friendly - even left some bacon for us which was a lovely touch. We stayed with our dog and she was also left dog treats and a ball which again we thought was a great touch! It’s in a great location - perfect for us walking the coast path and visiting Looe. Bath was a very welcome treat at the end of a long day walking.

The extension part was very cold so we just stayed in the horse box side. Could definitely do with some sort of heater in there during the colder months - would not have liked to have been sleeping in there.

Really cosy and it was nice that the log burner was left on for us as it was autumn and chilly! Great location! The host was very helpful with keeping us updated and helping with any queries we had.

Due to lack of electricity we had to rely on torches and fairy lights (which as we only stayed for one night was very nice and cosy!), sadly the solar panels weren’t working. However as we didn’t have a fridge I think trying to stay more than one night would have been tricky.
