Hotel Panorama Ksamil

Hotel idyllique quasiment neuf en bord de plage. L'atmosphère de cet hotel est tellement ressourçante (la musique, les décors faits de bois et de cordages, les lumières apaisantes la nuit) et le personnel extrêmement gentil et attentionné. La vue depuis le rooftop sur la mer et les îles, un pur bonheur. Literie très confortable de surcroît. La magnifique plage privée et les transats confortables invitent à la détente. Que du bonheur!

Un bon café au petit déjeuner peut-être

The location, the views and the staff were all exceptional. Particularly Rex and Mona on reception who were both very helpful, approachable and friendly. The bed was comfortable. The breakfasts were repetitive but had a good variety of choices with fresh and good quality food. The view was gorgeous from the rooftop where breakfast was held.

The room we were in, lacked a lot of basic items. There was a kettle but no tea / coffee / sugar or milk provided. When requested this was provided. We stayed for 5 nights and the hotel room only had one small towel rail we had 2 bath towels, 2 hand towels, 2 swim towels, our swimming costumes - so not enough towel rails and there were no hooks or anywhere to hang anything in the bathroom. There was also a lack of space to put toiletries in the bathroom and by the shower. The lower shelf under the sink was falling away from the wall as it wasn’t fastened tightly to the wall. The bathroom window, when the blinds were open, viewed directly into the bedroom of the neighbouring room which has a bathtub right on the window so In theory we could have waved at them while we were showering and they were bathing. The shower did not drain water very well and flooded the bathroom floor. There was no bin in the bedroom, only a toilet side bin in the bathroom to put tissues in as you can’t flush toilet paper down the drain in Albania (as with many other countries). The hand held bidet was not working so we had to use a lot of tissue. The bin got full quickly and the room would have benefited from another bin in the room. The bedroom view was breathtaking. Sadly only one of the sides of the bed had a bedside table which was really annoying for the person who didn’t have one. There was a ‘drawer’ type space on the side of the bed with a side table, however this was not a drawer, it was a flap that looked like a drawer but on hinges so literally opened up like a cubbyhole. The space was pretty useless to be honest as it was quite deep with limited access to the back. The same applied to the dressing table ‘drawer’ which was also a cubbyhole with even less access to the back of it. It felt like they may have run out of money in the process of making the final touches and certain things seemed pointless without the basics in place.

Location is great, great staff, close to the beach.

The view was not sea view, most of the view was a car park. The room does not have tables/ surfaces for keeping things. There was a light behind the tv, that was flickering all night.
