La situation géographique, le parking souterrain, la gentillesse de l’hôte, les petites attentions spécialités de madère ! Le logement est bien équipé. À proximité d’un pingo doce ouvert jusqu’à 22h. Des restaurants à deux pas et la vue magnifique sur le port de Funchal ! À 5 minutes de la place Cristiano Ronaldo et des boutiques souvenirs.

Qu’est ce qu’il faisait chaud dans cet appartement malgré la mise à disposition de deux petits ventilateurs, la chaleur était écrasante à l’intérieur. Et la nuit compliqué de dormir les fenêtres ouvertes car beaucoup de bruits entre la circulation automobile et les bars autour.

Honest review and I’d like to start by saying we had the most incredible time in Madeira. Absolutely loved it! Pros of the apartment- - Fantastic location. Near the sea and within the very beautiful Old Town. Buses stop outside and a large supermarket minutes away. Great atmosphere and very safe. Noise didn’t bother us. - Fabulous balcony - the view was truly wonderful especially the fireworks on Saturday evening. Very comfortable furniture. Best part of the apartment. - Susana the host. Very friendly and helpful. Responded instantly when we had a couple of problems (see below) - Good value for area.

- Very outdated - really in need of a complete overhaul. Quite a lot of damage. - Didn’t look and feel very clean. Rubbed my face wipe over the bathroom counter surface and it was black. - toilet seat broken. A hazard if you needed to sit down! - water tank so small only one person can shower and only for less than 2 mins. - Bedroom unbearably warm. No air con and patio door seemed jammed shut. - we had a fire alarm go off one night so we evacuated to lobby. Sat there nearly an hour when finally a tenant came down, said he couldn’t see any smoke and switched it off. Very worrying. - Washing machine broke down the first time we used it but water still kept pouring in and nothing Susana suggested worked. A spanner was needed to shut it off. We had to leave it on all night (so noisy) and I worried the whole time about it flooding. Susana came the next day and shut the water off and we managed to get our clothes out. She was great but these incidents did worry me.
