Hotel Dada Art Berlin

Great location! The staff was friendly but they didn’t speak English so it took a long time e to check in. However, we didn’t speak German so that’s on us too. The room was a bit hot with only fans but otherwise comfortable.

Location was easy to access trains and felt safe.

I really do not know what to make of this place. My friend and I each had a double-room and you could not compare them. My room was very clean, my friends room not so much. Both room had a tv, mine did not work, hers did with some strange channels. It seems her room has recently been painted, and no one bothered to remove the tape - and only one window could be opened, however it did not close properly and the room is most likely to be very cold at winter. Breakfast was a shit show, to say the least. We had to ask for cutlery and a cup of coffee- only staff could operate the coffee machine! No explanation as to when we could expect the breakfast buffet to be ready.

Staff could not speak English - or German! Saturday we ordered breakfast for Sunday - we did think it was a bit strange we were not asked to pay (in cash ) and come Sunday, we were told they did not serve breakfast. The atmosphere was in general not very nice - it did not help that the owner (I presume) has his dinner every night in the "restaurant" and just sat there looking grumpy without saying hello or anything. Location is great! Which is the best part about this place..
