The location and the fact that it was spacious.
The access doors are old and don’t give you a sense of safety. Also the showers are quite old and could be renovated.

We had a wonderful time at Pine Lakeview cottage! We have been renting cottages for a number of years now, so we know a good cottage experience compared to a poor one. This was by far our favorite! The lake was wonderful for swimming, boating and fishing! The cottage has a fantastic Muskoka room overlooking the lake that we love spending time in. The extra touches like the provided towels and linens, the tea/coffee center and the water toys just added to the overall vibe. Our host Mona was on top of things. When we had a small issue with the cottage water system on day 2, she took care of it immediately. Finally the wildlife viewing did not disappoint! Among the many creatures and birds to be observed, the River Otters that swam by the dock each evening were the highlight! We definitely hope to be back next year!
