Close to the area I wanted to be. Would stay again and the check in was easy too.
The room we stayed is a step down into the bathroom, which can be a hazard to some, but we managed ok.
For privacy, having stained window glass film on the bottom half of the bathroom windows would be ideal, as if you stand on the sink the neighbours' back windows are visible. The film doesn't have to cover the whole window, just have and the stained one still allow light in, but the bottom half should be obscured for privacy.

For a one night stay to enjoy a night in Carlisle, it was brilliant. Comfy bed, great shower and very clean. There are also shared basic kitchen facilities if needed which we didn't use. We were happy with the kettle in our room for a cup of tea in the morning.
The only thing I would say is maybe install privacy glass or even stick on privacy screen to the bathroom window
