We thoroughly enjoyed the privacy and peaceful, remote setting of the chalet. Despite its tranquil location, it’s very conveniently situated, just a short drive from Loch Ness and Fort William, and we even found it well within reach of the Isle of Skye for easy day trips. The views were absolutely stunning, and the overall atmosphere was wonderfully calm and relaxing.
The chalet itself is well equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Although we didn’t require anything extra, Colin and Lauren made it clear they were readily available should we need assistance, which we really appreciated. Overall, they were warm, accommodating hosts who helped make our stay especially enjoyable.

This rustic and quiet chalet in the woods was perfect for us. Lots of walks from the doorstep was our priority since our dog is car anxious, and the hosts kindly showed us walks for all abilities and tastes. We were spoilt for choice as we could reach beautiful wooden trails, impressive waterfalls, lochs and moorland all on foot, even a corbett (Ben Tee) for a longer hike. The two Loch Lochy munros are only a 10 min drive away and a fab day out!
The property was exactly what the doctor prescribed, wildlife all around and peaceful, clean and spacious. If you don't plan to drive around during your stay, I'd recommend to stock up on fresh food as there are no shops nearby (apart from the petrol station which has some essentials). The chalet is equipped with sufficient cooking facilities and utensils.
