There was not enough water pressure to take a shower. The hot/cold adjustment on the bathtub fixture was not working properly.

Lovely place to have a quiet stay

Lovely quite location with great views. The living area was quite spacious and the bedrooms were comfortable. Our host was friendly and had a lot of information about the local area, which we found helpful. We really enjoyed the Scottish treats in our welcome basket.

Great location, basic but clean and sufficient facilities

The lodge we stayed in was extremely clean. We stayed there in September and although the rooms were a little cold, we were able to warm them up using the electric heaters. Parking and check-in was extremely easy. This is a great location for exploring the local area. The facilities are 'basic' but we had everything we needed for the night that we stayed there. In Lodge 4, we had an amazing view out of the living area windows.

Highland getaway

Beautiful surroundings, lodges comfortable with everything you need...Kids loved it as much as the adults. Kevin was so accommodating and lovely! Ponies and Donkey a bonus!

The lodge was spacious. Lovely open kitchen and dining area. Bedrooms a good size. Clean and well equipped. Friendly owner who was responsive to messages and who was very welcoming.

Great host and cottage

1. very attentive host with nice friendly personality 2. easy to communicate with host and get quick responses 3. Comfortable cottage and nice soroundings 4. Relaxed atmosphere

1. I would recommend to have towels to be provided (it is not ideal to expect visitor to travel with towels with limited luggage space nowadays) 2. place more toilet paper by default in the cottages :D

A gem in the highlands

Everything was great, Lodge and location, hosts were very friendly.

We had a pleasant, relaxing overnight stay on the farm.

We stayed for only a single night, but these lodgings were just what we needed after a long day on the road. We missed the main lodge on our way in, but Kevin responded to my message immediately and drove over to meet us at the chalet. He gave me a quick tour and explained everything we needed to know. He also called over to the local restaurant, talked to the proprietor, and had them get a table ready for us. BTW, the food at the restaurant was delicious, although a little pricey. You could think of it as Indian/Highland cuisine. There were sheep in the fields and Shetland ponies who came right up to the fence for a pat and a scratch. My daughter was in heaven! Everything was clean and comfortable.

Didn't want to leave this little gem

Kevin the host was very friendly and knowledgeable, the ponies and Ernie were a huge hit with the kids, well equipped kitchen was appreciated, the location was ideal very beautiful & peaceful, basic but comfortable with extra touches for comfort, we didn't need much more.

Nothing really just more personal preferences. Bedroom Carpets & bedding could do with an update, we travelled with our four children so we always like when towels are included but it's something we are used to and bring our own anyway, planning ahead for groceries is essential in these kind of areas but again we are used to this just something to keep in mind when travelling here.

Wonderful Retreat!

This property was absolutely wonderful! Kevin was the friendliest host - he showed us through the cabin, answered all our questions. The cabin was in an idyllic location with great views of the mountains. It was a respite from the hectic city schedule, and we would have loved to have stayed longer! The kitchen was fully equipped, the beds were comfortable and the decor was perfect for a country cabin getaway.

We only regret that we only scheduled one night here. Would have enjoyed several days relaxing here.

Such a nice place to stay!

Such a nice place to stay! It’s very cozy, there is a nice wooden smell. Everything was clean. The host was extremely hospitable. And the view is magnificent. We really spent a great time there.

The only thing which could be better is the water pressure in the shower. Maybe it’s already fixed.

Lovely lodge and all of us love the fresh and relax environment!

The lodge we stayed is right up on a hill slope and just right in front of the animals (horses and donkey). My kids love them and excited to feed them. Fresh air and relaxing.

There is not bath gel or soap and shampoo during our stay. Other than that, all are good.

Beautiful place and comfortable homely stay.

Our host called us when we were late to arrive and informed us about an impending road closure which might further delay our progress. He then very kindly waited up until we'd arrived an hour and 40 minutes later than we had said we would, and showed us around the property. Very kind and friendly. Thanks for doing that for us. We had a great time.

Completely stunningly beautiful location and excellent facilities.

Meeting and chatting with Kevin. It felt like he was available if we needed him but unobtrusive during our stay. The cabin was immaculately clean and perfectly stocked with supplies and kitchen items.

It would be hard to improve on. Loved every minute and will be back. Kevin and Angie are amazing hosts.

We were bike touring with our two children; we were not making the distance we planned on, but found this location close to where we needed. Aside from another hill to reach it (if you're biking with kids you'll understand) it was beautiful. The beds were comfortable, there was a kitchen, and the shower was just what we needed. July, the sunset was amazing just outside the door.

Amazing weekend at Highgarry lodge

Fantastic location for discovering LochNess,Fort Augustus,Skye area or just a stop over for further journey up north...and the owner is one great guy! We all had a wonderful relaxing time, especially our dog made a "friend for life" with ponnies :-) PS: big bonus was unexpectedly fast enough internet,a life saving when you travel with 2x teenagers :-)

Bathroom was a little bit on small side but managable for our short stay.

Perfect warm and cosy retreat in the mountains

Mountains literally on the doorstep! Lovely cosy feel to the lodge, well-equipped and very warm. Very picturesque and nice touches made to make it festive.

Just a little niggle with the toilet flushing but draining slowly which with 6 people was a little annoying and embarrassing but this could be due to the freezing weather. Mattress was a bit hard, but this is personal preference.

eautiful and peaceful location, excellent for resting

beautiful and peaceful location, excellent if you need some time out. the lodge is very spacious, it is out of the main road so it very silence in the night, the outside have a fence around all the property so it is perfect if you have a dog as it will space plenty of space to run and explore. The host was super friendly, he explained how everything worked and gave as lots of recommendations, plus there was a beautiful welcome basket. To add up there are some pony around the property that are super friendly and you can pet.

Disappointed but probably hit it right before the started renovations!

The furniture was peeling, the beds were not comfortable, the exterior had a huge rotten log as you walked in. Pillows and bedding are very worn Having to strip our beds under the guise of “Covid” seemed a little ridiculous as nowhere else have we had to do this!
