Your amazing home base for mountain adventures. You’ll stay in a south-facing 1250 sqft condo with lots of light, access to 2 outdoor jacuzzis and a dry sauna, and a view of the Eastern Sierras.
The condo is cozy and well stocked - ideal space for two couples, a group of friends, or a family of 4-6. Can sleep 6 adults, but seating on the main floor is limited. 1 king bed with ensuite bathroom, 1 queen bed with ensuite bathroom, a twin-over-full bunk bed in the loft and a full guest bathroom with large shower and laundry on the main floor.
We remodeled extensively in 2022 and added some unique amenities: heated bidets in every bathroom, air purifiers, an induction range, and full-size washer and dryer. All beds are memory foam with comforters and oversize pillows. Beautiful finishes throughout and brightly lit. For those who need to soothe sore muscles, we have a Japanese deep-soak tub in the primary bath.
In the kitchen, you'll find a coffee-makers paradise: a drip coffee brewing machine and electric burr grinder, french press, Hario glass pour over with filters. We also have a tea pot for loose leaf, a hot water kettle, and a variety of tea bags. Everything you need to prepare the perfect cup in the morning!
You’ll be centrally located to tons of outdoor activities. Walk or ride your bike directly to trails anytime. Fishing, hiking, bike trails and 2 golf courses are a short drive away. We have a propane BBQ grill, outdoor tables and seating on the property.
We provide a local guide book with recommendations for rentals, activities, and restaurants. We're a family of three and lived here full-time for six years, this is our second home now and we visit often when we're not hosting guests.
As with many condos in Mammoth, this one does NOT have AC or central air. We have a wood fireplace, wall heaters, ceiling fans and portable fans available. The loft can get warm in the summertime. Instructions on how to build a fire are next to the fireplace (and in the condo guide book).
This location offers walkable access to must-visit restaurants and bars, a playground, groceries, shopping, and outdoor/indoor activities. For easy car-free access to anywhere in town, walk across the street to Trolley Stop 9.
You have access to the entire condo with its own entrance and keyless entry. There are public amenities you can use: 2 outdoor hot tubs that seat 8 people each, a dry sauna, and bathrooms with hot showers. Propane gas grill available near the pool, BBQ utensils provided in the kitchen. Lots of free off-street parking with spots for up to 2 vehicles, using the free yellow parking passes provided. Please make sure to return the passes before departing. There is a $25 fee for each lost or missing parking pass after checkout, to cover the cost of replacing it for the next guest.
This condo faces the Sherwin mountains - and one of the main roads in town. We're in the middle of it all! There can be outside noise, especially with the windows open. We have provided a white noise machine + earplugs and can answer any question you may have about noise levels.
Running several appliances and hair dryers at the same time may trip the breakers. Should this happen, the breaker box is easily accessible in the downstairs storage closet. If the lights/heaters aren’t working, check the breakers and reset the GFCI outlets. We can also assist if needed.
We will send a message with the access codes, parking info etc 48 hours before your stay. You will have contactless check-in upon arrival. If you need help during your stay, please message or call us anytime.
Mammoth Lakes is a magical part of the Eastern Sierras, and we can't wait to share it with you. Adventure awaits!
