"The Barnhouse" is located in the beautiful neighbourhood of Shaughnessy and was built as a barn or stable to one of the prestigious neighbouring manor homes. The neighbourhood is quite, yet central. The suite is equipped with free high speed internet, a flatscreen TV featuring Netflix, Amazon prime and Disney+, two washers, two dryers and new kitchen appliances. Street parking is widely available.
The barn has undergone many changes over the years. The east wing was the newest renovation project. It was converted into the beautiful and warm "Barnhouse suite".
The suite features a lovely patio, a remote controlled adjustable bed and two additional deluxe bedrooms and bathrooms on the second floor. It is equipped with beautiful skylights, underfloor heating, new utilities and ready to welcome guests.

The suite was beautifully designed, clean, welcoming and well appointed. The leafy and exclusive neighborhood also added great charm and privacy.

What a beautiful home and suite! We really enjoyed how this property felt like being in a woodland retreat while in the middle of Vancouver. It was spotless and Eva, our host, was welcoming and easily reachable. She even went to the trouble of putting out some toys and games for our 6 year old son, which he enjoyed playing with. The patio area was absolutely lovely and perfect for entertaining as we had a couple of friends come to us for a visit while we were there! The location is great - a short drive to most places we wanted to go - 10min to Granville Island, 20min to Commercial Drive and East Vancouver, 15min to Gastown/downtown. Would absolutely stay again!
