Perfect for adventure or relaxation. This stylish home is close to ski resorts, lakes, golf, and ORV trails. Located near the 45th parallel, it’s ideal for both outdoor lovers and homebodies. Fish nearby or unwind in nature. Mornings start with local maple syrup and our signature waffle mix.

We’re happy to welcome pets at Sugar Maple Getaway! A $50 fee per pet applies. With this fee, we provide a food and water bowl, one pet bed, dog towels to wipe paws, leashes, poop bags, and a poop shovel for your convenience.
To ensure a comfortable stay for everyone, please follow these pet guidelines:

Pets must be disclosed at booking and the pet fee paid for each animal. If an undisclosed pet is found on the property, a $75 fee per animal will be charged.

Arrive to a beautifully stocked fridge and begin enjoying your time at Sugar Maple Getaway the moment you step inside.
Service Details:
📝 Submit your grocery list at least one week prior to arrival
🧾 A detailed, itemized payment request will be sent within VRBO for review and approval
🛒 Grocery shopping is completed exclusively at Walmart
💵 A $40 stocking and convenience fee applies, in addition to grocery costs
✅ Upon payment completion, your refrigerator will be fully stocked prior to arrival
This exclusive service allows you to skip the errands and settle into a seamless, elevated getaway!

During the winter months, our property management team may reach out in advance and will be on-site as needed for snow plowing and removal to ensure safe access to the property.
In the event of major winter storms, we provide a generator at no additional cost if power is lost for more than 2 hours.
🧂 For guest convenience, a bucket of pet-safe salt is always available for unlimited use and is located in the detached two-car garage.
🌨️ While northern Michigan weather can be unpredictable, our dedicated property management team is committed to making your stay five-star, even when Mother Nature doesn’t cooperate. We’re here to help when things are beyond everyone’s control.

Our family had a great time staying here, the host was very helpful providing hiking recommendations for our stay and they also were very kind to provide a birthday card for my wife. The home was cosy and quiet, the location was perfect, it allowed us many opportunities for exploring/hiking day trips. We would recommend staying in the future on a future visit. Thank you!

This home was one of the cleanest homes we’ve ever stayed at. And very quiet and relaxing. Smart TV, comfortable beds and nice decor. The host left some treats and very yummy waffle mix for the waffle maker and pure maple syrup! A lot of amenities were provided as well like toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher pods, hand soaps etc. that you don’t get from most places. We will definitely be back!

We were up for a color tour. Did the walking bridge. Accommodations and location was perfect for that.
