Your cozy getaway awaits at this farmhouse. It's just far enough from the metro area to unwind on the way there. With 2 bedrooms including 1 queen bed, 2 full beds, and a 3-season sleeping porch with 1 full bed and 1 twin bed, this adorable property is perfect for families or groups of friends. You'll find all the essentials like a washing machine, WiFi, and heating to make your stay comfortable. The bathrooms are equipped with a shower, bathtub, hair dryer, and even a bidet for added luxury--one of the showers is outdoors (yes, with hot water!).
We love to cook in the kitchen at the farm. It is well appointed and equipped for you to enjoy. Lots of books and magazines and boardgames and puzzles will keep you busy on those inside days.
Outside trails are mowed to enjoy long walks around the 15 acres. Sit and watch the sunset, lay on the grass and enjoy evening barn swallow activity. Grab one of the many nature guide books and see what other birds and creatures you can identify. Pick wildflowers. Or read a book on the front or back porch! Recreational trails along an old railroad are close enough to plan for some cycling or skiing. Plus, we can tell you about our favorite swimming hole about 25 minutes away!
If you are into it, in exchange for helping with their food and water, enjoy eggs from the chickens.
