Come experience this unique and special place with beautiful, serene sunset views on Prairie Lake in Chetek, Wisconsin. Drive down the long, secluded driveway surrounded with mature white pines to a private waterfront home. Located in a cove, this is a very popular fishing spot. The lake provided excellent fishing for pan fish, walleye, northern pike and bass. Walk down the steps to an aluminum dock with a two person bench. This is the perfect place to put your feet in the water or enjoy a good summer book. There is a swimming ladder for those who want to cool off after a warm summer day. Enjoy grilling out on the deck with a Pergola perfect for those summer picnics. After the sun sets, enjoy roasting marshmallows around the fire pit. This four bedroom, three bath house has wood floors flowing throughout the main level. The primary bedroom has large patio doors that open to the deck with beautiful views of the lake. The guest bedroom has a large closet with plenty of room to hang your clothes. There is a large updated kitchen with a French door refrigerator, a dishwasher, microwave, coffee pot and a gas stove. The dining table has enough room to host six guests. The downstairs is the perfect place for the kids to hang out. The two downstairs bedrooms have two sets of bunk beds each with queen mattresses. There is a large screen TV downstairs and many fun family games and books to enjoy after a long day on the lake or a rainy day. Northview Lodge is located one mile from the downtown area with many local shops and restaurants.

We have been visiting Chetek for the last 35 years. We have rented private cabins, homes and several resorts. Some nice, some that made for memorable family stories! When I saw that this home allowed our fur family members, I jumped at the opportunity. Going on vacation can be such a stressful time for humans, but twice as stressful for our pets as they are often in unfamiliar places with unfamiliar faces. Spacious, and tastefully decorated. The view of the lake is beautiful and central to some great fishing spots (which shall remain secret!) There are so many pluses to this property, I would be remiss if I didn't mention the three modern bathrooms. Beautiful tile work and modern furnishings is a huge plus for this family of six. My husband and son had opportunity to use the ultra clean fish house as well. Don't overlook this, you will definitely get your moneys worth!

The hot tub was locked and empty the week we were there. Grateful for a place that accommodates pets.Enjoyed the nearby boat ramp so we could dock our boat.

The property was as described. The house was clean, and the view of the lake was awesome. We spent most of the time down by the dock fishing and boating. There were 6 of us there for the week. I have one negative thing, and that is the couches are pretty worn out and not comfortable to sit on.Would rent again.
