Escape to a vintage 2-bedroom cottage just steps to beautiful Lake Chetek, part of the 3800 acre Chetek Chain of Lakes in a quiet, relaxing retreat. This fall is perfect for fishing, hiking, going on rides to check out apple orchards or wine tasting. Riding an ATV in trails during fall is amazing! Summer Paradise offers the ultimate lake experience for relaxing, boating or fishing. You can dock your boat or pontoon right from our dock to start your adventure, steps from the cottage. Fish on these lakes include, northern pike, crappie, walleye, large and small mouth bass and bluegill. Whether you’re here to relax, fish, or explore, this charming two-bedroom cottage is your perfect home base. It’s a very quiet and the only rental in the neighborhood. After a fun-packed day of boating, shopping, trail riding, or just relaxing, enjoy hanging out in your yard with a game of darts, corn hole or croquet! Only 1/2 mile from downtown, you can easily walk to downtown in 5 minutes for a fun day of shopping or a night out!
THE SPACE Step inside and experience a cozy, vintage atmosphere with a charming master bedroom with a king bed and large closet. Our reviewers love the comfy bed and rave about the cleanliness of the cottage. The second bedroom features a twin bed and full bed combo, perfect for adults or kids. A full sized pullout couch provides additional sleeping in the living room. There’s plenty of kitchen space to prepare a perfect meal with a new full sized stove/oven, refrigerator, microwave, air fryer as well plenty of pots/pans and utensils. Dining room table has seating for 6 people. Outside you’ll find a fire pit, grill, and a patio table to enjoy the views and watch the stars. Play a few outdoor games, or just enjoy the serene atmosphere in the quiet yard.
LAKESIDE FUN Summer Paradise is ideal for water lovers-enjoy the minute walk to the dock, only shared with the owners. Enjoy the easy docking of your boat or just hangout to enjoy the ducks, loons, seagulls, or eagles soaring above! You can use a kayak or paddle board to get out on the water. Explore all 6 connecting lakes, water sports, fishing or just relaxing. Boat rentals are available just half a mile away at the local marina. For sun and sand, the beach is just a short distance away (.8miles) Chetek offers numerous activities including golf, ATV trails, stock car races, boat racing, flea markets and a multitude of downtown events! The nationally recognized Hydro Flights water ski show near the beach will amaze you and is free to the public every Sunday.

Nola was a wonderful host. The cottage is smaller than I expected but comfortable and cozy, nicely decorated and has very comfortable beds. It was also conveniently located for walks to downtown for shopping and to partake in some award-winning ice cream. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Very cute little cottage located right on the hosts property. Set in right with other homes around it but a very quiet neighborhood. Had everything we needed. Hist were very friendly and very prompt if we needed anything. Beautiful yard with beautiful flowers. We were able to use their dock for fishing and relaxing which we walked through their yard to get to the dock. Location was great for hiking a few miles away. Overall nice place to stay.

Place was very clean. Beds were comfy. Even had flowers from her garden in the kitchen. Only down falls tiny bathroom, thought it was in a private area. ( but noone bothered us and neighborhood was quite.)Owner was very nice

If you’re looking for a very nice quiet cabin this is the place. Had everything we needed, owners were very accommodating. Was able to dock our boat and was close to the cabin. Loved it!!
