Did not match our expectations but owner was flexible and responsive
The apartment is spacious by Parisian standards and well suited for a family of four. Access by public transport was uncomplicated (short bus ride from the metro station). When we expressed our dissatisfaction with the offering soon after an initial viewing, the owner kindly agreed to cancel the booking and refund us.
People come with different expectations. Unfortunately for us this accommodation did not match our expectations. Aside from the apartment appearing not to have been cleaned, the beds were not made, and no fresh towels were provided. The kitchen content and furniture were basic. The dishwasher did not work – admittedly, a functioning dishwasher was not listed but it appeared in a photo which was misleading. We experienced difficulties in removing the key from the apartment door – perhaps we did not understand the special instructions provided.
