Eldvindur

We really enjoyed our stay! The house is a quintessential Swedish wooden cottage—cozy, charming, and very comfortable. While the kitchen and bedrooms are on the smaller side, the living room is a good size. Remarkably, the house stayed at a comfortable 21–22°C the entire time without the heaters even running, despite the cold weather outside! We loved both porches—the front and back are perfectly positioned to catch the morning and evening sun. The house was well-equipped with everything we needed, including kitchen amenities, fresh linens, and towels. Above all, we truly appreciated the owners' sincere care and warm communication. They made sure we had a wonderful stay. We had a good time here !

Just a heads-up for fellow dog lovers: the neighbors sometimes place their dogs in an outdoor kennel. This is quite common in Sweden by the way. The dogs howl and bark from time to time because they dislike it. It wasn't loud enough to ruin our stay, but it can be a bit disheartening to hear.

It was a pleasure to stay at Eldvindur. We absolutely loved this perfect little holiday cottage, we immediately felt at home and this feeling only grew stronger during our stay. Everything was so charming and cosy. We enjoyed our stay not only because of the surrounding nature, the picture-postcard views with beautiful sunrises and even fairytale snow, but we also appreciated the thoughtful details, especially the perfectly equipped kitchen and the wonderful fireplace.
