Villa Concha

The outdoor space was huge. The villa was in walking distance to the beach, town and marina (20-30 mins) Big smart TV. Terrace provides nice view of mountains.

The bed was quite hard, but soft blankets were left so we put those underneath the sheet and it proved to be a bit better. The pool had a leak so it needed to be filled each day by a hose timer to keep the level up.

Great location, very spacious inside and out. The pool area was fantastic - plenty of seating and shade. Towels provided, and the villa was clean and tidy. the kitchen had a good range of crockery and utensils.

The sun loungers need cushions or padding. Whilst personal preference, the beds had hard mattresses and the kitchen could do wth a bit of TLC (broken cupboards etc).

Outside area clean villa and comfortable.

Kitchen cupboards needed repair, no toilet rolls 1 left for 4 people,no washing up liquid No dishwasher tablets í can appreciate you wouldn’t want to leave a box full but really should be supplied for length of stay.

Villa was in an area that we liked, easy walk to all parts of playa blanca. It "could" be a great villa if given a little love and attention.

Villa felt very basic. Lacked decor. Bedding was dated and threadbare. Towels were minimal (no extra in villa) and very thin, needed replacing. Some cracked glasses and chipped plates. No chopping boards. No welcome pack I.e water, washing up liquid etc Soap only left in one bathroom. Pool area was extremely bare, large area of tiled floor, some shrubs/greenery would make it less stark! It was difficult to get into the pool - no handrail and steps were slippery, had to be very careful! Sunbeds were ok but cushions (if you can call them that) were thin and filthy and of little use! BBQ was broken. Shower in one bathroom was full of spiders on arrival, window would not open. No instructions for villa left - great if you have internet (on line(but this was very hit and miss in the villa too. Had to ask for mid stay clean for villa. Work being done next door which was extremely noisy at times (started early 8.30 until 6) which we complained about but still continued as it was deemed not problematic but spoilt our stay - compensation for this was offered for our next stay! Not really happy about this. Experienced a problem with front door lock late one night (no.other way of entering the villa), key would not turn despite numerous attempts. We contacted management company who to begin with weren't very helpful. After a bit of an altercation agreed to contact the villa owner whom we were originally told would be cross at having to sort this out. Then told the owner would arrive in 50 minutes as leaving their own residence to come to the villa, which is rather ridiculous at 1am in the morning! Luckily after numerous attempts the door opened but gave us continual worry regarding this throughout the holiday.
