Quartz Alpine Residence

The location was good, about halfway/10 minutes between the airport and the town centre. Great views from the balcony, living room and most of the bedrooms.

Lots of things were broken or barely functional, like the fridge (a shelf fell out, along with everything on it), the shower head in one of the two bathrooms (it wouldn’t stay up, it’s default position was at hip level), the power circuit blew if you had the kettle and toaster on at the same time, the dishwasher racks were broken, and none of the bedrooms had shelves or drawers so you have to live out of your suitcase in the lovely, big bedrooms (except bedroom 4, which was tiny and had no windows). Despite booking for a party of 7, we were only given one house key and one garage door opener; this was quite inconvenient. I did try contacting the hosts several times to discuss theses problems, but despite a cheery welcoming email (“one of our staff will contact you within 24 hours of check-in, but please let us know if you have any problems”) we were never contacted.

Beautiful views, clean, tidy, quiet street. Close to town. We had two families of four- and there was plenty of room for both families. Such a great place to stay.

We stayed in summer and upstairs was quite warm- Air conditioning didn’t work properly upstairs. Very minor but a couple more kitchen utensils would have been great (no tongs). Overall a great stay. Possibly extra table seating for 8 people.

Great location in between the town center and Five Mile. The full kitchen is excellent and rice cooker is a bonus! View is amazing from the living hall and bedrooms at the basement!
