Nothing, everything was fine.

Everything about Rose Cottage was perfect. It was so peaceful and tranquil. Spotlessly clean, all the amenities you could need for a self catering stay, really comfy beds, lovely hot shower, loads of towels incase you don't bring your own, phone charger, fire stick, toys and games if you have children with you, access to use their beach hut to borrow things for the beach and the cottage is pet friendly, our wee dog loved it. They have thought of everything. Cottage sits in a gorgeous garden with lots of different seating areas. The communication from host was great and the cottage was so easy to find and just a 5 minute drive from Killybegs Harbour. Perfect base for exploring Donegal. Weather was great whilst we were there. We found at least 2 different beaches each day we were there. We will definitely be going back. A real gem of a place to stay.

Fantastic stay! Brilliant location just 5 minutes’ drive from Fintra Beach. The house is private, comfortable and spotless, with a great layout that easily sleeps around seven people. It’s dog‑friendly too, which was a huge bonus. The hosts were fantastic, and the garden — with its beautiful solar lights — was so well maintained and lovely to relax in. Great recommendations for local things to do also. We’d happily stay again.

Quiet and peaceful location ideal for exploring the south of Donegal. Extremely well equipped kitchen and home with all you might need for a beach trip etc. The nearest beach (Fintra) is just beautiful and dogs are allowed all year round (though there’s a section to avoid during summer)

Everything was great but we would have liked a washing machine.
