Lovely to stay in traditional cottage and a great location for exploring Donegal. Eamon was very welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed.

Bed linen and towels were clean

The location was convenient

The building was not properly sealed and appeared damp and musty with no backing on some cupboards which did not seem appropriate for food storage,The bathroom appeared to be in a coal bunker and the backdoor was hidden behind a dresser, In my opinion it fell far below health and safety standards. Memorandum cards of dead relatives...creepy.

Superb breakfast. So many extra touches. A most convivial host. We had a memorable stay and would recommend this accommodation. Nicely situated between Killybegs and Donegal town.

A interesting experience in a vintage cottage.

The property was as described, the cottage was decorated with traditional items and vintage possessions that add to the traditional rustic decor. The kitchen has original fixtures that were fine to use. The cottage stay was interesting and not an experience you could find everywhere.

The house TV was on the smaller side, and it could have used a tv in the side bedroom. The village the cottage is in is very small and limited.

We loved everything about it. Truly the best place we've been. There's a really personal feel to the cottage,like a home from home. Lots of memories everywhere inside. The flowers and colours outside are truly breath taking. It's very private and cosy

Central location in Donegal County in a small character property. Would be ideal for one couple but space is limited for

Clean and comfortable. Good parking for our vehicle. Heating system was great once we learned how to operate it. Obviously a much loved cottage with considerable history. Very good amenities

Limited space for two couples and many, many owner’s mementos and treasures which took up a lot is space while making it unique. Bathrooms small but we’ll appointed.

My Friend and I arrived at Theresa's Cottage in the Stunning Donegal, our host Eamonn was an absolute Gentleman and couldn't do enough for us, he had the cottage decorated with beautiful Christmas Decorations and even a Tree, beautiful scented candle it was breath taking to walk into this. The bed linen was high quality and the beds so comfortable. We had such a lovely stay and walked the beach every day with our dogs, which was near by. 🤶🤶🎅🎅😀😀😀 We will return for sure, and can highly recommend Theresa's Cottage

Beautiful cottage. Very special atmosphere. Like a museum full of stories. Very warm. Even though it is an 150 years old cottage all the facilities are modern and clean and comfortable to use. There is a gas station with a supermarket within 1 min walk.

It was a bit of confusion in the beginning- the owner confused our date of arrival, so we had to call him for check in. But the problem was solved within an hour and the rest of the stay was perfect.

Eamonn is a great host - excellent comms and cares about his guests. The cottage is very charming indeed and also very clean and comfortable - it was a lovely cozy place to return to after a day of exploring Donegal and surrounding areas.

Wifi would've made a good stay great. There's little to no mobile data reception inside the cottage, although there is outside. Eamonn mentioned that he'll be getting wifi installed very soon so would recommend without reservation at that point!

The Perfect Stay

Everything was loved by Myself, Bernadette and Ralph (Our little Schaunzer) It is so silly how the whole world gone mad at the min, I thought it was only right to support a small business and I am so glad I did. I didn't have much chat with Eamon apart from a few messages and a welcome on arrival but I feel I can read someone and he's a pleasant man. He made us feel very welcome and was only a message away or a knock upon his home front door. We will return. (We celebrated our Engagement here)

The only thing I could say that is negative about it is the front door needs fixed (which I know Eamon will get sorted)

Thos really is the most amazing quaint wee cottage. There was everything we needed. It was warm and comfortable and the beds were amazing. Amazing host. So much to do and see in the area. Will definitely be back.
