Meteora Gold and Glass Loft

Excellent location with everything you could possibly need...restaurants, grocery stores, shops, bakeries, cafes, etc...literally right outside the door and immediate surrounding area. Loved the patio with outdoor seating and incredible views of the tall rock formations where Holy Trinity is built on. You cannot see the actual monastery but you can see the large white cross that is up there. The apartment is spacious, updated, and very clean. Nice bathroom with good shower. Small kitchenette with fridge and cloths washer. There is an elevator then a short flight of stairs to get to the apartment which is on the top floor. A free parking lot is located just down the street. It was perfect for our 2-night stay. Irini was a great host.

One minor thing is that the power to the cloths washer shuts off when you remove the door keys from the card slot on the wall. We had tried starting a load of laundry before leaving to get lunch thinking it would be done by the time we returned. Instead we had to listen to it run while trying to take an afternoon nap. Another thing to be aware of is that the free parking lot also hosts a very nice farmers market every Friday which shuts down the lot and a couple of the nearby streets. Unfortunately, after a long tiring day of visiting all the monestaries on Thursday we completely missed the sign for this so our car was stuck in the lot, but Irini came to the rescue to help get us out. Thanks again Irini!
