Beautiful, peaceful location, with view to Eryri on one side and Holyhead Mountain on another. Surrounded by farmland and within a farm property, this was a lovely restful retreat. If you want to have some off grid time in a gorgeous location, this is wonderful. A charming and cozy shepherd hut, very clean, restful and wonderfully cozy. I had wonderful sleep while I was there, woken by the gentle lowing of the nearby cattle who were in the field (very friendly and curious) opposite. Separate bathroom ( bring your own towels) and kitchen/dining facility which were immaculately clean, in a nearby outbuilding (bring a dressing gown and torch) for night time loo trips😉. Very friendly host that thoughtfully left a lovely mini hamper of tea, coffee, snacks and lovely 'Bara brith' - Welsh fruit loaf. The bed was super comfy with quality bedding. Kitchen had all the usual facilities, but note no washing machine. Not sure if one was available on site but I didn't need one. I was lucky enough to have the site to myself. Great central Anglesey location, with a 5 minute drive to the local village of Gwalchmai, and a 15 minute drive to connect to the A55. If I wanted to go 'off grid' again I would definately chose this property.
Nothing to dislike, but Observations made: Please note the 'hut' itself has NO electricity. Light is provided by rechargeable, 'touch' lamps. I needed more than the 2 provided but the host kindly brought more lamps Immediately. There are steps up to the hut, which might make access difficult for the less able bodied. The kitchen and bathroom both have sockets and full electrical power! A winter stay with dark nights could be interesting. That said, I visited in August and the light level was fine till 2100 when I was tired out anyway! I brought too many clothes and there wasn't a wardrobe as such, but plenty of space for hanging clothes, and two bedside cupboards for storage. The log burner within would be wonderful in the Winter, but I didn't use it. Dining area facilities both inside kitchen area and external sitting areas. Lovely, rural location.

Location
Unfortunately there is no A/C power to the shepherds hut which is not stated in the advertisement making it unsuitable for us to stay. We ended up staying somewhere else .
