Seascape in Oceanside

Funky big beach house with character. Amazing views of the ocean and the full moon through the upstairs skylights. Bathrooms were very clean. Nice decks and outdoor sitting spaces. Plenty of towels.

Information about where to park was lacking. The driveway by the 'carport' is only safe for a lifted vehicle. The garage entrance is on the street below. Garage has lots of abandoned projects, to three cars would be a pinch. Both roads above and below the house are single lane one way going in the same direction. The dining table and one of the beds had sand all over them when we arrived, which was disappointing. Many of the dishes from the cupboard needed to be washed before they could be used, which was gross. Never did find the lower level baseboard heat control. To lock the French door by the kitchen: lift right handle up until it clicks and while holding it up, turn the bolt lock from the inside. (The note taped to the door does not really help, it's more of a hint at how the lock works.)
