The Wreck Room, 6 Flannel Flower Fairway - fantastic house filled with activities for all

We loved the house, sadly the pool cues need updating and more darts are needed. It was a bit far back from Shoal Bay beach, I didn't mind the walk or bike ride. But it would be hopeless in Summer with kids as it would be too hot to walk that far & the parking at Shoal Bay in high season would be minimal. Its not too bad in the winter time. There are also parking metres everywhere even Fingal Bay now. Wreck Beach is a nice walk, but would not suggest this beach for kids, it would be too dangerous. Be careful coming out of the driveway, residents park half on the road/sidewalk & it is very hard to see I hit my car coming out.

Toaster was broken & the pool table to be updated & darts for the kids.

Everything was amazing. Very comfortable and amazing place to stay. Have rebooked

There was a bad smell that seemed to be coming from downstairs. Sprayed the house with airfreshener multiple times but smell was still present. Could not determine what it was.

Spacious property with good supply of items for a week long stay. Clean and comfortable. Fresh towels supplied. Spacious garden for children to enjoy.

Clothes line was broken but we were still able to hang clothes and towels. It has a damaged support causing the line to tilt significantly . The back steps leading to the garden are uneven and a bit treacherous. Thecubby house is a bit dangerous There are nails sticking out of the wood which could injure children if not adequately supervised. Sadly the plastic slides for children have passed their use by date. They are brittle and cracked. The dish washer worked intermittently so after only one use we opted to wash the dishes we used. The bathroom sink is slow to drain and appears to be blocked.

Good location, spacious, comfortable and lots of activities for all.

House could have been cleaned up a little better and one of the bedrooms door wouldn't close
