Check-in was seamless, and the location is conveniently close to Festive Mall, with a spa, gym, and coffee shop just nearby. The host addressed my concern right away and stayed communicative throughout my stay. The internet was fast and reliable. The TV was intuitive to use, and I had no issues logging into Netflix and Apple TV. The bed was comfortable, and the air conditioning kept the room pleasantly cool, so I slept really well. Overall vibe of the room was cozy. I need to know where they got the weighted blanket!!

The check-in instructions weren’t sent to me right away through the Booking.com messaging app like they typically are with other properties, so we ended up coordinating via WhatsApp instead. That said, it didn’t take away from my overall experience, and I still felt great about the stay.

I stayed for one week, and aside from the absence of a washing machine, the place is pretty much complete. (The owner mentioned that laundry services are available—you just need to message them.) The unit offers a marvelous view of the sunset and the street. It comes fully equipped with a refrigerator, hot water in both the bathroom faucet and shower, toiletries, robes and towels, cooking utensils, cleaning materials, big TV, good Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and a very comfortable bed with cozy sheets. There’s even an extra extension cord available, despite the room already having plenty of outlets (useful since extension cords are not allowed on the plane). The room also smells consistently nice and fresh, which I really appreciated. <3 Guests have free access to the gym and pool, which I honestly didn’t expect but was a great bonus. The building itself has a charming Parisian aesthetic, and the staff are all very kind and accommodating. Garbage is collected daily, helping keep the space clean and tidy! It’s also within walking distance of K-Town and Festive Walk, making it convenient to explore the nightlife and enjoy great Iloilo food. If you're into arts, you MUST visit the ILOMOCA, which is also near the area! :) Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would definitely stay here again if I return to Iloilo. 🙂

The kitchen sink drain gives off a slight foul odor whenever the sink is used, and I’m not sure what’s causing it. Additionally, the shower water pressure is weak for a short period when first turned on, but it returns to normal after a few minutes. Important, because I found that the faucet-to-shower mode only works well with good water pressure.

Upon entering the apartment, we immediately noticed plastic plants and decorations placed throughout the unit. Plastic decorations tend to collect dust, which made the apartment feel less hygienic. I also didn’t find it sanitary that the plates were left uncovered on the table, as they were already exposed to dust before use. In addition, there was a long hair left in the shower drain that had clearly been missed during cleaning. I reported this to the booking assistant who contacted me through Booking.com, but I didn’t feel that my concern was taken seriously. Another issue was that the shower gel dispenser mounted on the wall was empty, while the shampoo dispenser was full. It seemed that housekeeping had not properly checked the apartment before our arrival. Parking was also not free. We had to pay ₱40 each time we parked, so every time we left and returned, we had to pay another ₱40. This was inconvenient and should be made clearer to guests before booking. Although the apartment itself was new and modern, the cleanliness was below expectations and was disappointing overall.
