Vila Vida

Vida is a charming, little mountain house with spectacular view on Durmitor. We enjoyed it a lot! Would definitely recommend. Location 10/10.

The description is correct - the small house is so close to the city center yet you feel so secluded. The forest is all around and the view of the massif is just perfect. The house is well equipped and practically brand new. Follow the navigation instructions provided by the host to find the place, though. Once you're there, enjoy the view and clean mountain air.

Nothing to mention. We were looking or a small mountain house and that is what we got. Our honest recommendation.

Расположение дома отличное, рядом идет стройка небольших домиков, но их не было слышно совсем. Вид из окон такой же как на картинках, домик свежей, буквально месяц-два назад отстроили. Были приятно удивлены наличием кофемашины, большим количеством специй, чистотой, порядком, свежестью, тишиной вокруг. Вечером, когда мы ужинали на террасе, пробежала совсем рядом с нами лиса=)

Скрипят кровати на втором этаже, сказали об этом хозяину, пообещал исправить. Спать было сложно из-за скрипа =( На первом этаже кровати не скрипели. Сложно открывается окно-дверь в комнате на первом этаже. Нет тамбура и отдельного места для обуви, идет сразу вход в дом с террасы и предполагается оставлять обувь на улице, но мы заносили во внутрь (ибо лисы)))) Так же на входе в дом вешалка для верхней одежды - без тамбура не комфортно, возможно достроят со временем. Нет кондиционера. Есть печка, но нет проводки труб, возможно к зиме достроят и нужно будет допить, так как кондиционера нет - учитывайте этот момент.

With the host's instructions, we easily found the little house. It is about 3 kilometers from the center of Žabljak. Between 5 and 10 minutes by car on an asphalt road. The road to the house takes you so that your back is almost always turned to Durmitor. Only when you arrive in front, park the car, and step outside do you get the chance to look at the mountain—and it’s an understatement to say the view is spectacular. Meadows and forest all around, and above the forest the entire Durmitor massif. A scene from a postcard. We searched thoroughly for a place to stay before our trip, and I can honestly say that there are only a handful of houses in Žabljak placed in this type of scenery and with view like this. By the way, the house is new. Inside, it smells of wood and resin. We would especially highlight the view from the terrace and the bedroom. So, take our advice and don’t draw the curtains at night. In the morning, you’ll be greeted with a sight you rarely have the chance to see. Our hostess, Milja, was absolutely perfect. She welcomed us, handed over the keys, and even directed us to the neighbors who sell fresh milk and cheese and to a spring with drinking water. We don’t have a single word of complaint. We only regret that we couldn’t stay longer in this beauty.

Everything was absolutely great. Our stay at Vila Vida exceeded our expectations in every way.
