1 Bedroom Apartment - Monge With NetFlix

Excellent location. Just steps away from tons of restaurants and cafés and activity. Clean and enough space for us (two adults one teenager). We were happy with the accommodation, but it was missing some necessities as other reviewers have said. It was cool during our stay, but during the hot season, it would be loud to open the windows as it’s right over a street.

The property manager was available prior to our booking. But once we arrived, we never had questions answered that we asked through Booking.com or WhatsApp. So if you need help or assistance when you’re there, don’t count on it. As other reviewers have said, they are very cheap with towels and pillows. We had exactly enough pillows (thin) for each person, but I need a pillow between my knees due to a spine injury and prefer two under my head, especially for a thin pillow. For this reason, I did not sleep so well. There’s only one tiny washcloth for all guests to share as a hand towel. Also, they provided only one roll of toilet paper plus the half used roll from the last guest. It would cost such a small amount of money to fix these problems. We had to go toilet paper shopping on vacation, which is pretty ridiculous considering how little it would cost them to provide enough for our four nights stay. We spent over $1000 for this room, they could give us toilet paper.

We really liked the location of the Apartment and all the cool places around it. On top of that, everything was very clean and comfortable, with more than enough Space for the Four of us. Having hairdryer and shampoo/gel was an amazing detail. Moreover, Maurice was very helpful 😊

Die Lage der Wohnung ist ausgesprochen gut! Sie liegt sehr zentral, ist ruhig. Auch die Aufteilung der Zimmer ist ansprechend! Das Viertel (= Quartier Latin) ist wirklich sehr empfehlenswert! Es gibt in der näheren Umgebung viele Fachgeschäfte (Bäckerei, Fleischhauerei, Fischhandel, Supermärkte, Apotheken, ...) und einen kleinen Park! Auch die Verkehrsanbindung (Busse, Metro) ist sehr gut! Die Hausbewohner sind sehr nett und helfen auch bei der Mülltrennung :)!

Bereits bei der Buchung wird sofort der Gesamtbetrag fällig, obwohl man eine lange Stornierungsfrist hat! Sollte die Überweisung nicht prompt erfolgen, wird die Wohnung sofort vom Gastgeber storniert! Der Gastgeber ist bezüglich der Check-in-Zeiten bzw. Check-out-Zeit NICHT flexibel. Man kann beispielweise nicht einmal eine Stunde vorher anreisen!!! Eine halbe Stunde vor dem Check-in-Zeit hat man eine Nachricht erhalten, bis dorthin wusste man nicht, wie und wo man an den Schlüssel kommt! Allerdings wollte der Gastgeber dann die Zeit nochmals um eine Stunde nach hinten verlegen, weil gerade die Putzkolonne in der Wohnung war! Wir standen daher eine weitere halbe Stunde im Flur des Eingangsbereiches und mussten warten, bis man uns den Schlüssel überreicht hat! Zudem war dann nicht alles geputzt, offensichtlich hatte man es eilig.... Man hat uns angeboten, die Check-out-Zeit zu verlängern. Am Abreisetag war davon dann KEINE Rede mehr! Er bestand auf pünktlicher Abreise, weil ja geputzt werden sollte... Für Geschirrspüler und Waschmaschine muss man unbedingt Tabs selbst mitnehmen, es ist jeweils nur ein Tab vorhanden! Die Küchenausstattung ist sehr spartanisch: es gibt nur eine kleine Pfanne und einen kleinen Topf! Es fehlen ein Schneidbrett, ein Topflappen, ein funktionierender Weinöffner, weitere Pfannen und Töpfe und vor allem fehlt ein Geschirrtuch, mit dem man das Geschirr abtrocknen könnte.... Auch Reservegegenstände wie weitere Müllsäcke oder mehr Klopapier (2,5 Rollen für 4 Personen für 5 Tage!) sind nicht vorhanden!!
