Avila Nilaveli Beach

Me and my friend stayed at Avila Nilaveli Beach for 10 days. We had an amazing experience here. The owner and the rest of the staff was wonderful and the service was fantastic. They were always making sure we felt comfortable and pleased with our stay, and offered to help us or give us some recommendations. After a long day on the beach we were met with a cup of coffee and a snack. They also offered to do our laundry for free since we stayed there for 10 days which was super nice! Would really recommend booking the stay with breakfast included. We got big portions of fruit, egg, bread and some local food, in addition to fresh juice, coffee and tea! The rooms are really nice, two doublebeds and a huge bathroom. Really clean. Had aircondition and a small refridgerator. Over all very good value of the money!

the rooms were very bright and big with equipment to make coffe or tea and mini fridge. We got fresh bottled water every day. The host and staff were very helpful and friendly. They helped us with few very important things for what I am grateful . The price is very low for what you get and I highly recommend staying here. The beach is also beautiful.

honestly there isn’t anything I can complain about

I felt like this was my home away from home! I had actually booked a different place, but immediately felt uncomfortable there, so last minute I booked here at Avila Nilaveli Beach Hotel and came by tuk tuk. Since I gave no advanced booking notice, the manager wasn't around when I arrived. The staff there immediately started making me comfortable with some cold juice, and they showed me to my room, even though I hadn't officially checked in yet. The rooms are very nice, clean, roomy, modern with very comfortable beds and A/C! The shower is very comfortable. They provide fantastic delicious breakfasts each morning! The grounds are beautiful and it is only two minutes walking distance from the beach. They kept bringing me bottled water and hot tea to keep me hydrated throughout the day! They are very helpful to hook you up with any tours or sightseeing that interests you. They also provide airport transfers and drivers for your needs. Their friends gather around in the evenings with a fun jovial atmosphere, and include you as if you are part of their family! I felt very welcome and comfortable during my entire stay!

I literally enjoyed everything about my stay here. No complaints or discomfort at all!

Beautiful room in the gardens right near the beach. Close to snorkelling for Pigeon Rock and lovely beach bars and cafes. Amazing breakfast. So much choice. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Even got our laundry done and back the next day.

They are currently expanding the property but it doesn’t affect your stay but just to be aware of. It will be even better when they have finished the renovations.
