The beach lovers nilaveli

Very good drinks and the tiny houses maybe only 1 year old, big and clean. The first night we spent in a beach hut since the AC of our tiny house was broken - those are much less comfortable and only slightly cheaper. Also: they're some metres closer to the beach and the restaurant so if you've the ones behind the kitchen you hear music until 23.00 and there's movement from 6.00 on in the kitchen. The best is the location just at the beautiful beach, perfect for kids, only small waves. Small place, chilled.

The prices at the beach Restaurant were the double of the ones in arugam bay. Music: even though 90% of the guests (August) were families with kids, the music was often too loud and not suitable (hits of the 90s like Venga Boys or bad charts music until 23.00). Better keep playing the quiet music like reggae or chill-out when you see o ly families around. It looks like a party place but at least in August only families were there.

We did stay in the next place, Vitamin Sea, which left me better impression than the beachlovers nilaveli. It seems that the original place had double bookings and we were accommodated to the next place. The bungalow was new and clean and comfortable.

There were no single female workers, which was strange. No single bill of meal was correct, and it took extremely long time to get/pay a bill.

Amazing location with beautiful beach. Great breakfast. Very friendly staff. Lovely welcome on arrival and took specific breakfast orders for our daughter. Cabanas were cosy but clean. Great vibe. Loved hanging out in restaurant area in the evenings and eating on the beach.
