US Cabanas was a very nice place to stay, and it looks exactly as it does in the pictures. Since it is newly built, all the furnishings felt fresh and new. The property is gated, which made us feel extremely safe, especially as two female travellers. The caretaker was also very thoughtful and even collected the phone numbers of the tuk-tuk drivers who picked us up to help ensure our safety.
We usually have a hard time waking up early, but the caretaker was very helpful. You can simply let him know your plans for the next day, and he will help wake you up and even pack breakfast for your trip. The swimming pool was also really nice, clean, and well-maintained, and we had the whole place to ourselves during our stay.
The location is a little far from the main area, but it was not a problem at all since we were always able to easily hail a tuk-tuk using the PickMe app. Overall, it was a safe, comfortable, and relaxing stay, and I would definitely recommend US Cabanas.

Great Swimming pool and the chalets are all really clean and the staff very friendly
I liked it all. It is a little way from the main road but easy to get to and from by Tuk Tuk or walking.

Établissement très récent avec de très jolis bungalows confortables et une très belle piscine dans un cadre naturel et fleuri.
Proximité de la plage de Nilavelli et du parc à crocodiles.
Durant notre séjour de 4 nuits le ménage de la chambre n’a pas été fait et nous avons du demander tous les jours d’être réapprovisionné en eau et café (situation un peu gênante pour nous de devoir quémander).
Petit déjeuner à faire varier pour les longs séjours.

- Nombreux oiseaux (aigles, martins pécheurs,...) grâce à la proximité du lac.
- Très belle plage à 10 minutes de marche.
Malgré une construction récente (6 mois environ), l'établissement semble être sur certains points insuffisamment géré:
- le premier jour, nous avons dû demander à changer nos oreillers qui ne sentaient pas bon;
- nous avons dû changer de chambre: suite à un défaut de conception, la cabane n°1 est inondée en cas de forte pluie.
A noter que le personnel a été très réactif à traiter nos demandes.
