Die Betreiberin war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, hat mir sogar bei Kleinigkeiten geholfen.

Alles war bestens.

Devvie and her husband are exceptional hosts! They are quick to help with anything and everything from ensuring I have access to cash on the island (as sometimes the ATMs don't work!), an adequate work station with lighting for me to teach and work online, and fresh fruit and water for the minibar. She even took my allergies into consideration and switched the linen and towel detergent for me =') She also helped me with laundry service and motorbike rental. As her husband works for the ferry, booking tickets is super easy as well. Devvie makes a lovely breakfast at any requested (morning) time - it's always beautifully healthy and balanced (which is SUPER important for me as a metabolic health coach!). The sourdough is fresh from the local bakery; she includes eggs, vegetables, and fresh fruit - sometimes also with Greek yogurt and a sprinkle of granola =D The room itself is brand new, modern, and the bed is amazing! Very firm but comfortable so you're well supported for a great night's sleep, especially so with loads of new fluffy pillows and a big duvet. Blackout curtains, a quiet and well-working aircon, rainfall shower (with SUPER HOT water!), a removeable showerhead, a foot rinse all in one spacious shower/bathroom, and big fresh cotton towels all make the room even more luxurious and comfortable. There's a seating area on the patio as well as glass sliding doors so you can enjoy the ocean views from indoors or outdoors with a cup of coffee or tea from the minibar. The sunrise view is only 10 steps or so from the room and you won't want to miss this! The Wi-Fi is super strong, fast, and reliable, even for video calls. I booked two nights and decided to stay an additional 3 weeks! The location is peaceful, private, and has absolutely breathtaking views. As you can see, the hosts are incredibly accommodating - the only reason to leave is an expiring visa! I can't recommend Kapouk Cottage enough.

The stairs are big...? I'm trying to come up with something to write for this section >.< The carport is still being finished so, when you sit on your bike, it'll be hot for like 2 seconds *shrug*.
