The apartment is quite small, but you're in Tokyo, so its not unexpected. It had a shower, toilet, washing machine and a small kitchenette and is all very clean. Everything we needed to be comfortable. It's located in a residential area, so it's not noisy at night. There's a small supermarket about 150 meters away and Ochiai train-station is about 250m away, taking about 40-50 minutes to get into the heart of Tokyo city via train. Hosts directions were easy to follow and they responded quickly to any inquiries. The price was quite reasonable for a family of four.

The apartment is located on the third floor and there's no lift. Only stairs are available. The curtains need to be thicker to stop daylight coming into the bedroom in the morning.

If you don't mind a slight bit of walking, the location is exceptional. It was spotless. Near to a 7 eleven, a laundromat, a small grocery, and the station. The kitchen is relatively complete, especially since we had most of our food outside or from the konbini. All the facilities were easy to use. Just used google translate to understand the microwave and washing machine. Two stops away from Shinjuku, 4 stops from Shibuya. The host is easy to communicate with and extremely helpful too :) Overall, it was a great stay for its price :D

For a family of 4, it is a little tight. The beds in the room fill out most of the space. We were looking for more outlets to charge our gadgets, and it turns out there is one behind each bed frame. Luckily, the beds were light, so we were able to adjust them a little to reach the outlets. The shower is small, but that is the case in several other apartments, so no complaint there. It did the job. Last thing, the towels are a little small, and there are no bath mats, which made it a little difficult not to track water onto the hallway, but that's a minor problem.

Well situated close to metro station and shinjuku, but super quiet at night Small but has 2 confortable beds and a washing machine !
