I’ve visited Italy more than 30 times, and I’ve never stayed in a place as extraordinary as this one. The property is far more beautiful than the photos suggest, and it sits in one of the most privileged locations in the entire country. It’s only a five-minute drive from Iseo — the true gem of the lake — while also being right in the heart of Franciacorta, one of Italy’s most stunning wine regions.
If you truly know Italy, you know the real magic is found in calmer areas with a genuinely local lifestyle. From here, you’re also perfectly positioned to visit Lake Como, Lake Garda, and even Milan and Verona, all within easy reach.
The accommodation itself is exceptional: beautifully designed, newly built, refined, elegant, and equipped with everything of the highest quality. There’s a TV, heating and air conditioning, gorgeous views of the lake and the main house, Dyson hairdryer, premium mattress, private garage, automatic gate, offering full autonomy and privacy.
There are also wonderful extra services: massage, yoga, pilates, breakfast charmingly served in your apartment, and an absolutely breathtaking space for special events, such as private chef dinners.
Giorgia, who oversees everything, is incredibly efficient, thoughtful and kind. She provided personalised restaurant recommendations that made our stay even more special. Responses were always quick, friendly, and tailored with so much care.
The whole family puts their heart into every detail, and we’re deeply grateful to Giorgia, Mara, Giulio, Stefano, Susie and the entire team for reminding us once again why Italy feels like home to us. We will absolutely return and recommend it wholeheartedly.

We spent a few rainy days at Baluardo Boutique Apartments and still completely fell in love with the place. The location at Lake Iseo is beautiful in any weather, and the apartments are so thoughtfully equipped that you instantly feel at home. It’s the perfect tranquil escape to unwind and recharge.
The next town is only about 20 minutes away by foot - wonderful for a little stroll.
Even though we couldn’t enjoy much sunshine this time, we already know we will be back in summer to experience the full bloom of the region and explore the famous bike routes. A wonderful stay that left us excited for our return!
