Spacious, clean, well equipped apartment in the old town of the city.

Only downside was TV, we couldn’t find any channels

The location is wonderful, close to all the important places and the flat looks nice. It is also spacious and could well accomodate more people than the three of us. It was easy to get the keys. There was a parking place as promised.

The flat was clearly created as an investment idea - everything looks nice but nobody stopped to consider how it will function. The worst parts are: a huge set of absurdly hot piping in the middle of the bathroom (which is in the middle of the flat) which heats up the whole (non-airconditioned) appartment beyond any reasonable temperature (we contacted the owners about it and they said that they can't do anything about it) and poorly sound isolated windows which overlook a street where cars drive absurdly fast and noisily - so even trying to get a proper breeze through the flat (i.e. opening the windows on both sides) is impossible during the night. The sink was clogged and the owners only said that they will inform their tech person. We stayed there for two nights and this hadn't been fixed. The quality of the materials used all over the flat shows that they weren't chosen with durability in mind - some things show water damage, others - scratches. We were also required to prepare our own bedding - it was there, in the wardrobes but we had to pull the covers on the duvets and pillows etc (in all fairness: a single person set was ready - but we reserved for three people, not one!). All of this would be vaguely unproblematic in a cheap appartment (and in my life I have stayed in waaaaay worse places than this) but this one had a hotel cost so we expected hotel quality and not a lowly hostel one. To add insult to injury, the owners have set up a truely absurd amount of automated messages over Booking which harass you with every single thing they could think about - including a weirdly detailed pricelist for late checkout and nagging questions about the hour of your checkout or demanding we take the garbage out. Sure, in a place which costs pennies I might do it but not for the calling price of this place (the breakdown includes a 60 EUR cleaning fee - for that I will not be taking any trash out whatsoever) and for the poor comforts it offers.
