Ebury House

Great area, lovely hotel and staff. Think I was given a better room than I paid for, the room was lovely, comfy bed, spotless room, lovely view, I would very happily stay here again.

This is a perfect cheap and cheerful place to stay in London. The room was small and the en-suite very small, but that’s not a complaint. For the cheap price to be in a safe, convenient area with a clean comfy bed it’s to be expected. Yes the room was a bit worn but there was a fan provided (the weather was very hot), a kettle with tea and coffee etc. I was a bit worried after reading some of the reviews but would certainly go back there, and as an analogy I think it’s unfair of people to expect steak when they are paying for a burger.

Perfectly located just a 5 minute walk from Victoria Station, the hotel runs through two properties, en-suite bathrooms are very small but there is a communal bathroom located out on the landing, Television is very basic channels, internet service is hit and miss with several plug sockets not working, the proprietors did include fans in rooms during this outrageously hot weather however windows are victorian style sash windows that only lift up a couple inches, this is obviously for health and safety reasons so just bare in mind. Speaking to other guests the bigger the room the higher the floor so those wishing to stay in a triple/family room be prepared to climb, no lifts means plenty of steps in. Comfy beds, clean room, lacking attention to detail. Pleasant stay for value and location

The room is located in the basement of the building and has its our bathroom that's located outside the room in the corridor. Room has good facilities such as a microwave and fridge which is very much appreciated. The bathroom is of good size but the problem is the lack of water pressure for the shower. The shower was more a drip than anything else. Another sad issue with the property is that they charge for storage off baggage when you leave. It feels an unnecessary charge.
