Le Tresor du Chateau

The location was fantastic, menthon is a beautiful little town 10 mins walk - great boulangerie with sourdough baguettes, the property is within 20 mins walk to the lake. The pool was refreshing and the property was clean and nice to have our own en suites with every room. Beds were very comfortable and the space was plenty. Marc was a fantastic host and fixed any issues we had very quickly. Nespresso machine was appreciated aswell as the washing machine. Beautiful views from.the balcony. Annecy is a magical place. Hikes on your doorstep and close by - we did the angon waterfall which was lovely. The boys did the close by via ferrata and loved it. You also cannot do a seamless ride / walk around the lake only as you need to come off and go further inland then back on again which looked very dangerous for riders when sharing the road with cars etc - did not fancy this. Enjoyed watching the hot air balloons each morning too.

Auto opening drawers in the kitchen 🫣 not sure on the need for these but just kept opening when you didnt want them to or all 3 opening when you only want to open 1. At least we know we wont ever want these at home 😂. No air con and was over 30 degrees outside, heatwave in May and the upstairs main room blind was broken so we couldn't close it so it was too hot to use in the afternoon/ evening. The bedrooms were very hot with no air con. Outside shower wasnt working or the pool jets as something was waiting to be fixed.

Cette maison est un véritable havre de paix. L’intérieur est très bien agencé, et les volumes sont parfaits pour une famille de 5 personnes. Il ne manque qu’un box fermé pour la voiture, mais le parking reste très fonctionnel. Je recommande vivement cette expérience !

Tout est super, la maison est magnifique et très bien située. Environnement calme et très belle vue. L accueil a été effectué par Marc qui est très sympathique, agréable et aidant.
