Location is good, only 15 minute walk across the river to town center.
Has most of what you need for a fine stay in terms of facilities and equipment.
Great communication from the host.
Nice view of the city and river from the balcony.
Lacking a user manual. Heating controls complicated if you're not familiar with these heaters. No coffee machine. Living room is noisy due to heavy traffic outside. a few basic maintenance issues...e.g. double socket in bed room hanging out of wall exposing wiring, light switches in living room broken resulting in some lights on 24/7.

Loved the balcony and the view
Private parking was not free but only £5 a day
( could park on side roads for free if wished)
Property would benefit from an information booklet both about the property and things to see and do in Derry

The apartment itself is beautiful, modern and in a great location. It was comfortable and communication from the host was very good throughout. On first impression it looked clean and well presented, and it’s in a very convenient spot.
Parking was a big factor for me as I was travelling for work. The listing states free private parking, but the check-in instructions explain that parking is actually free on-street and you need to pay to park at the property itself. That was disappointing and felt misleading.
While the apartment appeared clean at first glance, when I moved the bedside table slightly to access a plug socket, I noticed condoms and rubbish behind it. The headboard above the bed was also quite dusty. There were no mugs or cups provided for tea or coffee, only a used sponge and no tea towel, and the WiFi wasn’t great during my stay. For the price paid, I expected better attention to detail.
