Derby Gate Cottage is an absolutely delightful home! So tastefully decorated, beautiful garden & balcony plus eveything you could possibly need in the house itself! A real bonus were all the toys & dressing up box - 4 small grandchildren delighted in all the outfits! Used lovely dressing room as extra bedroom for baby which worked great & 10 of us had planet of space. Claire, owner was a delight to deal with - responsive, helpful & flexible! Honestly was perfect few days!
Probably location - on bend of a busy road. But positives way outnumbered this!

It was so beautiful. So much space and so comfortable. Perfect for walking and visiting Bakewell.

Wonderful house - huge, clean and extremely well equipped. We were able to cook for multiple families, with a great entertaining space for 80th birthday party. Loved the hot tub! Host was very responsive and helpful.
Not much to not like! The road is pretty busy - getting out of the house drive can be tricky unless you have someone over the road to direct. It's also a bit noisy if you're a light sleeper.
