Close enough (10 minutes drive) to Sooke downtown in a secluded location. Restful beautiful lake view facing north east. Clean room and comfortable bedding. Clean kitchen. Bathroom also nice. Even on a hot day there's often breezes coming late afternoon. Air conditioning works well. Sighting of hummingbirds, blue heron, deers and rabbits. Host was helpful and really friendly. No issues with pests. Felt safe.
Our suite doesn't have a separate bathroom. The window in our room can use darker curtains. Can mention in driving direction that Kemp Lake Road is the second right turn after entering Otter Point. The road sign is a bit hard to see especially in the afternoon going west.

the location was quiet and serene. beautiful lake side stay. breakfast by the water was sweet. the room was cool, clean, and very comfortable. Our host was very pleasant. A great value, I would stay again.
the down side is 1 shared bathroom but it didn't seem to be a problem. I am unfamiliar with airb&B . I didn't realize this was a shared space but it felt very nice to be there.

The owner and her son were so welcoming! We were offered tea...her special rose tea...and treats...and a lovely chat! The property is so beautiful...the lake exquisite!
We would have appreciated better directions as it is a little out of the way...
