About this apartment rental

After a day savoring the delightful tourist spots which make Victoria and the island a world-renowned vacation area, you'll come home to a cozy one-bedroom suite, on a Quiet Cul de sac . Close to sand and water, trees and trails. Our comfortable one bedroom suite, with private access, is in a residential neighborhood next to Glen Lake, in the beautiful area of Langford. Our place is a short walk to sports fields, the YMCA, the Rugby Canada National Training Centre, Pacific Football Club, shopping, bowling, skating, theatres, groceries, and the galloping goose trail.

The kitchen is complete with a fridge, stove, microwave, Keurig, small appliances, pots, pans, and even a picnic basket complete with beach towels to support your adventures on the island.

We have Wi-Fi and cable TV. Our suite includes a stackable washer and dryer. Linens are supplied. The bathroom will have shampoo, conditioner, body wash and a hair dryer.

Bring your kayaks, paddleboards and fishing gear if you like as the lake is stocked with trout. You can fish off the dock or there's a small boat launch for boats with electric motors.

The hosts were very welcoming and self check-in was seamless. This location was convenient to explore Victoria, the south coast of the island & Butchart Garden and hikes to the north. John and Susan were the perfect hosts!! Great communication and we really enjoyed our chats and suggestions for the area. The suite was a cozy coastal retreat with an inviting window seat to enjoy the lake view and many bird species visiting the garden. Super comfy bed, relaxing rain shower and well stocked kitchen. Central location was great for getting to all our favourite spots both in Victoria and Sooke. Thanks for such a wonderful experience and will be back!!

This was a wonderfully sweet suite - such a cute, comfy, cozy place to stay. All one could need for a short or longer stay is provided, in this quaintly decorated and well equipped suite. Sitting at the window seat in the well appointed living room with your morning coffee, gazing beyond the garden, one can look out to the lovley lake view beyond. Then only a quick, brisk walk out the backyard gate and into the Glen Lake Park you will find a huge grassy area and picnic benches, a large play area and seasonal water park; not to mention the lake with a bridge to fish and swim or paddle off of. Not far from the house are many handy places to go, from hiking/biking trails, more lakes , beaches and many other activities, restaurants and shops close at hand. A great location to get around to many historical, cultural, and recreational activities and nature areas galore. And if all this isn’t enough, two of the nicest people to meet and greet you, who are very kind and exceptional hosts always communicating and helpful with numerous questions. They definitely went above and beyond for us, and I feel we met new friends . Thank you for the kind and generous hospitality!

The location was close to major shopping amenities and close to the freeway for easy access. Set in the trees with a small lake nearby with walking trails. We were in our F150 - a bit large for the parking area but managed. Hosts were very friendly and responsive and live in the home which is above the lower level (walkout level) apartment. Only real complaint - could have a larger table in the kitchen - a drop leaf round table should still work in the area and accomodate eating meals easier. Rest of the facilities were excellant. Would stay there again.

I would give this place a 6 or 7 stars out of 5. I was pleasantly surprised with this apartment. The costing and location is perfect. The location is close to a bus stop and has pleasant walks nearby. The kitchen is better equipped than my own place! and the owners are amazing to interact with, they went out of their way to ensure I had the best stay. I have not a single complaint or recommendation on how they could do better. If I am in town again, I will surely stay with them again.

This cozy place is in a great neighborhood with far more than we expected. It is close to shopping, movie theatres and plenty of dinning options. The suite is set up very well and there was nothing we could have wanted that wasn’t there. They have put together a detailed book with all the ins and outs of the place as well as some info on Victoria and things to do. Thanks for a great place to finish our days and wind down from a couple hectic days spent driving down from the Yukon and moving our daughter into her new place.

What a beautiful property! It felt like home from the minute we walked in and we wished that we had more time to spend there. The unit is immaculately furnished with everything you could possibly need and lots of extras like the reading nook and a wonderful folder of resources to help you navigate your stay in Victoria. The property is an easy 20 minutes drive into Victoria but set in gorgeous Langford in a quiet road with access to a lake, park and play area.John sent us detailed instructions to find it which worked perfectly. There is a supermarket less than 5 minutes by car. We would love to return and stay again.

This place was amazing. The unit was spotless and like a home away from home. It is fully equipped with everything you could need and more. John Brian and Susan were so helpful with local information and anything we needed. The unit is cosy with beautiful views of Glen Lake and there is direct access through a gate at the bottom of the garden. We can’t wait to come back and stay here again! We would definitely recommend staying here if you are visiting Langford!

After a very warm welcome we entered a fully equipped apartment. There are blankets and chairs for the beach at there nearby lake. Everything has its place and is labelled. We felt comfortable returning after a long day with excursions. Thanks to John and Sue, who really want you to have a great time.
