Cedar Garden Cottages

Lovely grounds. The cottage was clean and sunny, with everything I needed. My cats were very comfortable. The host was awesome.

Futon couches are fine to sleep on but are uncomfortable to sit on. Basic Wi-Fi should be offered.

The host was amazing. Such a wonderful person. The cabins are located near a public beach and getting to all the hiking trails was easy and quick. We had a great time.

We loved the location, away from the cities, where you can enjoy few days in the middle of the nature, surrounded by trees, but close enough to Tobermory, Lion's Head Lookout, and other attractions in the area. The cottages are small, but good enough for 4 people, and they were very clean.

The only thing I didn't like was the fact that we had to bring our own bed sheets and towels, but we knew that in advance so it was ok, but it's just more stuff to pack and carry with you that I usually prefer not to do when I travel.

We absolutely loved our stay at Cedar Garden Cottages, or Rita's Place!! We came for a long weekend of hiking, and this cottage had everything we needed to have a successful trip! The cottage has two bedrooms separated by the bathroom which is great for privacy. The full kitchen had everything we needed, including cooking oil, pots and pans! It has a spacious deck with a BBQ! The whole place is surrounded by bushes and trees for privacy! It's literally steps to the beach, and about 20 steps to the Bruce Peninsula Provincial Park trails!! Secluded, private, and quiet!! Rita is a very warm and welcoming person, who just makes you feel at home! We will definitely stay here again, and next time we may bring the kids, as it has a full yard and swing sets for them!! EXCELLENT STAY FOR THE MONEY!!!!
