Location was convenient to where I needed to be for work.

Arrived and the property and immediately smelt of cigarettes, windows were left open with the heating off even though it was minus degrees outside. Tried the hot water and there was none as the boiler had an error code for low pressure. Decided to cook some food only to find the ‘washed’ dishes still had food on them, the pans and trays had been chicken into the cupboards dripping in grease so much so that they were leaking out of the cabinets, the washing machine had someone’s clothes in there, bins were not emptied, pillowcases were on the foot outside, windows had been shot at by what looked like an air rifle. I wasn’t expecting the Ritz by any means, it was what was available that was walking distance from the car specialists working on my vehicle for a few days, but it was hands down one of the filthiest places I’ve stayed at. Host offered to send a cleaner, but they wouldn’t arrive until the day before I was to check out. As offering to clean was essentially pointless compensation of just one night’s stay was agreed, but has not been honoured. No surprise.. This shouldn’t have happened in the first place. Would urge people to avoid unless you have zero options and are happy to stay in what felt like a squat.

Tons of space

While no incident occurred, there area didn’t fill me with confidence. The property was refurbished in a DIY manner. Overall impression is that style is outdated. Issues: - kitchen, bathroom, dining room and sitting rooms have blue lights. Very disturbing for the eyes. See photos - all windows were left open (unlocked handles). We arrived late evening, didn’t even think of checking it. We only noticed it in the morning - at the time of writing this review, private parking is listed amongst facilities, however there is NO PRIVATE parking to the property. Off-road parking only - many little annoying things, like see through doors to the downstairs loo.
